[The Dead Case]

Fantastic!

A fantastic, in-depth plot blended with the classic 'see/touch' adventure game. I especially liked the police computer, in which you could enter any name you came across and be told their details; it added real depth to the game.

Couple of points: Music, as said before, grains after a while. Either change it or add more atmospheric sounds/sound effects. Also, I often used a hint when I was stuck, yet I feel they are too revealing; they aren't so much hints as telling you what to do.

Otherwise, great game.

It's hard to judge what kinds of hints people need; I get a lot of questions or requests for 'direct' hints... I tried to balance it, since the hints in the dialogue weren't enough, it seems, at times. All of the information is actually IN the dialogue, they always give vague reference where you should be going (For example, the ghost in the school references the police station when it's appropriate to go to).

I have to admit this was a good game, and so I say it. But it sickens me that you have the, the... unappreciation to actually put a demo on Newgrounds. This is just an advertisment for the game he is trying to sell. Newgrounds is a community for free Flash, not a place where idiots like you can exploit it. Don't do this again.

I agree with you. That's why we made a fully playable demo that contains of 2 levels. People can choose if they want to buy the full version or not. We have two goals with this, we just want to earn money so the costs for developing this game are covered and the other goal is that we hope that the quality of the games we produce gets better and better. Ofcourse also the quality of the free playable demo. The profit will be invested in the development of new games. They keep getting better and better that way...but the price stays the same. At the end we hope we can offer you gameboy quality games at a much, much lower price. If you all don't agree to this, OK. Then at least we tried.

I love this game!

I hope your reading skill isn't as bad as your typing.
This game is very addictive. But I can't get past level 9!!! Arrrgghh!

As of today, I'm going to start typing normally, since that was just bred of a stupid coursework I was doing, and the result annoyed more people than it amused.

I'm really pleased that there are still people playing my game and enjoying it.

I hadn't heard of anyone getting stuck on level 9 before... most folk have a bit of trouble with level 8, but then make #9 in a couple of goes...
